Steelwings Kimberley is a Motorcycle Club that promotes the use and enjoyment of motorcycles. The Club is dedicated to bringing together people interested in Harley-Davidson®, as well as the ideas and principles of safe motorcycling. The Club is involved in various charities in the community from time to time thereby trying to make a difference in the lives of ordinary people.
It all started on 12 January 2008 when a group of Harley® riders got together to form the Steelwings Kimberley Chapter. The founding members were Aubrey Abbot, Schalk and Louise Botma, Pierre and Aletta Dreyer, Leonie Edwards, Mike Louw, Anusha Padayachee, Fanie and Hannelie Smuts, André van der Merwe, Mike and Christine Williams and Elma Woods. Five of the founding members are still actively participating in the events of the Club.
We have an amazing club that influences our lives far far beyond the first Wednesday of every month.
Currently Steelwings Kimberley has 38 members - 30 riders of which 6 are lady riders.
